The story so far.

I started reviewing electric vehicles in 2019 from a one-bedroom flat in Lalitpur, with a borrowed camera and a Tata Tigor that wouldn't always charge. Six years later, that experiment became Bijulidai — South Asia's most-followed independent EV channel — and three other companies that, together, try to answer a single question: what would it take to actually electrify Nepal?

The short answer is: cars, scooters, charging infrastructure, accurate consumer information, and a retail experience that doesn't punish customers for buying nice things. So we built one of each — Bijulidai for trustworthy reviews, Segway Nepal for two-wheel mobility, Oliz Store for premium retail, and Techsathi for daily, accountable journalism.

"I'd rather review a vehicle for six months than for six minutes. The camera doesn't care. The viewer does."

Before any of this, I was a software engineer. I quit in 2018 because I couldn't shake the feeling that Nepal was about to undergo a mobility transition without anyone documenting it from the inside. I was right about the transition; I'm still working on the documentation.

Today I split my time between Kathmandu and the road — wherever the next car or charging station happens to be. I write, film, occasionally advise government EV policy committees, and try to make at least one good cup of coffee a day.
